Jan Bos transitions to the Supervisory Board
Royal Reesink today announced the appointment of Michiel Alst, the company’s current Vice President Finance & Control, as the company’s CFO per 1 August 2025. Michiel succeeds Jan Bos, who will remain involved at Royal Reesink as a member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
In the past period, Jan has been instrumental in building a solid financial organization. Together with CEO Rogier van der Linde, Jan has shaped the new Leadership Team and aligned the head office structure with the organization. With this, Jan has decided this was the natural time to hand over to his internal successor.
Michiel has been with the company since March 2021, working closely together with Jan. His financial expertise and extensive knowledge of Royal Reesink will be invaluable in this new role.
Rogier van der Linde, CEO of Royal Reesink, says: "With Jan’s departure, we bid farewell to a CFO whose strategic insight and dedication have been of immense value to Royal Reesink. I am glad that he will stay on board for the next period to ensure a solid transition, and I look forward to continue working together with Jan in his new role with the company. With Michiel, we have a great internal successor and I am delighted that he is willing to take on the role of CFO. I am confident that with his knowledge and experience, he is the right person to steer not only our finances but also our strategy."
Michiel Jaski, on behalf of the Supervisory Board of Royal Reesink, adds: "We are pleased with the nomination of an internal candidate and are convinced that Michiel, with his expertise and in-depth knowledge of Royal Reesink, will make a valuable contribution as CFO to the further implementation of the company’s strategy.
