De Vries Mechanisatie to continue under the banner of Kamps de Wild

As of today, 11 January, De Vries Mechanisatie will fall under the sole responsibility of Kamps de Wild, which is part of Royal Reesink. This is the logical next step after many years of successful cooperation, which included a successful long-term shareholding by Kamps de Wild. Both parties are household names in the agriculture and landscape (gardens & parks) sectors. For many years, they have jointly offers strong brands like CLAAS and AMAZONE.

Dick Melessen, division director: “Due to trends in our market, which include economies of scale among our customers, more and more is being expected of products and dealers. We can meet these expectations by joining forces. Our strategy of working more intensively with our full-line dealers, which was initiated over ten years ago, is once again helping to reinforce our market position. Close cooperation is becoming increasingly important in order to serve customers and suppliers alike. De Vries Mechanisatie is renowned as a reputable, reliable and professional company. Our shared history, which spans more than half a century, is invaluable for the future. We thus look forward to a continuing our successful partnership.”

Thierry Panadero, Sr. Vice President Agriculture underlines the importance of good cooperation: “This is fully in line with our strategy for 2024-2026. This involves focusing on improving customer satisfaction. That is why Kamps de Wild is investing in strengthening its presence in the market through after-sales and digitalisation. This will allow the machines of our customers to be maintained effectively. Our goal is to become the 'leading global machinery equipment distributor'.”

Lute-Anne de Vries, director of De Vries Mechanisatie: “It is now time to pass on the baton that has been carried by myself and the De Vries family. Kamps de Wild is the best and most logical choice, considering our shared history and their expertise and knowledge concerning our range of products. This move offers opportunities for De Vries Mechanisatie as well as our customers and suppliers. But another aspect was also important to us as a family: we have been able to offer our employees, who have served us so well over the years, hope for the future.”
